Before we can even digest the iPad – love it or hate it (I’m not sold… yet) – companies are starting to push out their takes on accessories for the device. Let’s be honest about this. We knew the size of the thing even before yesterday’s announcement, and since its form is as flat as a magazine or book itself, retro fitting a case to cover the unit should have come quick.

Hard Graft is one of many companies that come out of the gates with their “proto” take on the iPad case. It features the familiar hard graft felt wool and leather finish. If we were to purchase said device, this may well be the case we would consider.

Yesterday on the Paris runway, Louis Vuitton unveiled a series of handpainted bags by young German artist Christian Schoeler. The project is a collaboration with menswear designer Paul Helbers.

A fan of 19th century painting, which Schoeler inspires his work from, Helbers offered him to create a tangible bridge between art and fashion. After creating suits earlier this year, the pair moved on to bags: 3 models – 2 large weekender-style bags and one square rucksack– were created in a limited edition, out of pieces specially made on leather by Schoeler.
“These are good for traveling, they remind me of the nomadic life artists often lead. It’s not really about the bag, but about mobile life” said Schoeler about the collaboration. “All artists’ clothes are covered in stains, like an accidental customization”, he continued, “My life is about creativity and that applies to art, but also to fashion.”

t’s no secret that Mr. Hare is of Jamaican decent and being such, night time shoes have always been a priority. It is no exaggeration to say he’s been dreaming of these shoes, ‘The Stingray Orwell’, all his life – could they be any finer?

Orwell Stingray is an apron Derby shoe in patent leather and stingray built on a Blake construction. The heel quarter, apron and vamp walls utilize patent leather while the forward vamp is stingray. Stingray skins are a food by product of the Far East where stingray dishes are commonplace. Stingray skin is so tough it was originally used as a protection against sword slashes and is believed to have been worn by Attila the Hun. As with all Mr. Hare shoes, Orwell Stingray is fully leather lined in natural leather. The sole and heel are also constructed from 100% leather with a rubber heel insert. Reinforcement nails protect the toe area. The minimal seams on the upper are rolled to avoid untidy fraying.
For best care, Orwell stingray should be stored on a shoetree to retain the shape. Patent leather and Stingray can just be polished with a clean, dry, soft cotton cloth.

I am a HUGE! fan of Varsity/Letterman jackets, i always have been ever since i was about 5, but being from england you dont really come across them to often, anyway, i have a few i got from america. Unboxing my new Lanvin shoes

This is the second pair of shoes i bought out of all five, these are also my second favorite, I lusted after these shoes for ages, so i thought these would be my favorite, but surprisingly there not, there a close second! i love the toe cap on these shoes, its leather and has a weird finish which give it that blue colour. the suede is nice, and the inside of the shoes are leather and there padded to add extra comfort.

(sorry for the poor quality of these pictures, bad lighting in my bedroom =/ )

These are 1 pair out of 5 new pairs of shoes i bought, I bought these gucci trainers, a pair of Dior Homme trainers, some Lanvin trainers, two pairs of alexander mcqueen trainers. I have to say, these gucci ones have to be my favorite, the leather is amazing quality (what you would expect really) and the packaging is amazing (not that i can wear the packaging, but it helps ;) )

French urban artist zevs has a must-see show at art statements gallery, opening there on thu - jul 16. the artist arrived earlier in hong kong to create a series of paintings of LV and chanel dripping logos on lacquer [the traditional chinese way] in collaboration with local craftsmen. additionally, he made a series of ceramics and paintings on metal. all these works will be presented plus a variety of his other signature liquidated logos.

If you want a powerful, fast Porsche Cayenne, Stuttgart has no shortage of choices on offer, topping out with the mental 550 horsepower Turbo S. Of course, there are plenty of aftermarket tuners willing to take the unreasonable up to downright silly proportions, but if you were looking for power and speed without sacrificing too much fuel, for the most part you were advised to look elsewhere. After all, a big SUV isn't exactly the ideal platform for either. But then along comes Porsche tuner extraordinaire Techart to show you the way with its own custom Porsche Cayenne Diesel.

Boosting output from 240 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque to a hefty 290 hp and 465 lb-ft, the Techart Cayenne Diesel drops the stock 0-60 time of 8.3 seconds down to a handy 7.7 seconds, all without harming the vehicle's fuel economy or emissions numbers. Nice work, but the most impressive part is the modified torque curve that gives the big oil-burner accessible grunt from as low as 1,000 rpm.

Techart has also crafted a unique Aerokit 1 for the diesel sport-ute, giving it a more aggressive stance while improving airflow, capped with giant 21-inch alloys or optional 22s. The British tuning house offers a turnkey model at £55,500 (around $89k USD) with the body kit and engine mods, or can fit an existing diesel Cayenne with the Aerokit for £15,000 ($24k) and the engine kit for £2,500 ($4k).
